Federal ATC grants bail to Suleman Ghani in NICL case

Karachi: The federal anti-corruption court on Friday granted interim bail to then former secretary of commerce Suleman Ghani in National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) scam case.

Sanaullah Khan Ghouri, the In-charge judge of federal anti-corruption court gave Suleman Ghani bail in the sum of Rs500000. Earlier, the same court accepting the charge-sheet filed by Commercial Banking Circle (CBC) of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), had issued the non-bailable arrest warrants against Ghani and others involved in the NICL scam.

Seeking interim bail, accused Ghani appeared before federal anti-corruption. He submitted that he would face the charges in the trial court and asked court to grant him interim bail.
