Governor Delegation

QUETTA: Progress and success can be achieved through education only. It is good sign people in remote areas of Balochistan are interested in education and demand for establishing schools and colleges.

These views were expressed by Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai while speaking to delegations from Sherani and Pishin here Wednesday.

Referring to problems of delegations Governor said that these would be sent to provincial government.

About worsened law and order situation in Pishin he said Commissioner Quetta should take notice of this.

Delegation from Sherani said a cadet college should be setup in the district and a grid station should be built to resolve electricity problem. Quota of district Sherani against reserved seats in higher educational institutions of the country particularly professional institutions should be increased.

Pishin delegation said that drugs problems were becoming very serious in the district. They called for stringent steps for checking this menace. They also urged for resolving voltage and load shedding in the area.
