IHC directs EC to hold Chairman PCB elections on Nov. 02

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court on Monday directed the Election Commission of Pakistan to hold fresh elections of Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on November 2.

The court also directed the Election Commission to issue the election schedule immediately along with the voters’ list of 111 members.

A single member bench comprising Justice Shoukat Aziz Siddiqui issued the directive while hearing the contempt plea filed by Secretary Regional Cricket Association Multan, Ahmad Nawaz, seeking direction against acting PCB chairman for not implementing the court orders with regard to holding elections.
