Senior Congress leader Ghulam Ahmad Mir has said Jammu and Kashmir is the victim of wrong policies of the BJP-led Indian government which is out to destroy the very foundation of democracy.

In a statement, he said Jammu and Kashmir lost its identity under BJP and appealed to the people to support it for the fight for the restoration of statehood.

He said people are being exploited in the name of bright future, control on prices, and 20 million jobs annually, but all their promises have fallen flat, except politics of hate and division.
