Interior Minister expresses resolve to make Pakistan progressive, peaceful

Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti has expressed government’s resolve to make the entire country, including Balochistan, progressive and peaceful.

He was talking to former Governor of Balochistan Abdul Qadir Baloch, who called on him in Islamabad today.

The Minister said Balochistan is abundant in natural resources.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Qadir Baloch said natural resources of the province can play an important role for the development of the entire country, especially Balochistan. He also congratulated Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti on assuming office of the caretaker Interior Minister.

Besides, former Federal Minister Mir Chingiz Khan Jamali also met Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti in Islamabad today.

They discussed in detail development of the country especially Balochistan, law and order situation in the province and rehabilitation of flood affectees there.

The Interior Minister said that efforts to solve the issues of Balochistan are underway on priority basis.

On the occasion, Mir Chengez Jamali proposed the inclusion of Shahdad Kot-Kashmore road via Ustah Muhammad, Dera Allah Yar and Sohbatpur in CPEC projects.

In another meeting with former Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Sardar Sher Ali Gorchani, the Interior Minister said NADRA center for Tribal Areas of Rajanpur will soon become operational.

They also discussed problems of South Punjab.
