Japan vows to work with PBM for patient's welfare (The Balochistan Times (Pakistan))

Economic and Development Counsellor of Japan Embassy in Pakistan Takashi Harada and First Secretary Hiroaki Kawashima Wednesday visited Thalassemia Centre and vowed to join hands with Pakistan Bait ul Mal for the welfare of poor patients.

During a visit of Thalassemia Centre, both diplomats appreciated the welfare projects of Pakistan Baitul Maal.

Managing Director Pakistan Baitul Mal (PBM) Barrister Abid Waheed Sheikh apprised Japanese diplomats about the welfare projects of PBM, said a press release.

He also briefed the diplomats about the working of the Thalassemia centre where the poor people are being provided medical facilities free of cost.

The guests visited various departments of the Centre and met with the admitted patients. They termed the facilities being provided to patients as satisfactory.
