JI greets new Balochistan CM

LAHORE: Secretary General, JamaateIslami, Liaqat Baloch, has extended greetings to Balochistan National Party chief Dr Abdul M’alik on his election as the Balochistan Chief Minister.

In a message here on Sunday, Liaqat Baloch expressed the hope that the new government in Balochistan would solve the problems facing the people of the province, especially the missing person’s issue.

Meanwhile, senior PML N leader, MNA, Khwaja Sa’d Rafiq, and PTI Secretary General, Dr Arif Alvi, on Sunday, contacted JI Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch, by phone to solicit JI support for their respective candidates to the office of the NA Speaker and Deputy Speaker.

Baloch asked them to approach JI parliamentary leader in the NA, Sahibzada Taraqullah, in Islamabad, for the purpose.
