Kaira rule out delay in general elections

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira Kaira ruled out delay in general elections. He stated this while talking to media person here on Friday. He said in categorical terms that dissolution of the election commission is not constitutionally possible.
He said the same was conveyed during talks with Tahirul Qadri in Islamabad and Lahore. Answering a question‚ the information minister strongly rejected objections of Pakistan Muslim League-N on the commission of creation of new provinces.

He said the PML-N and the Punjab government were requested time and again to nominate their members for the commission but they did not suggest any names. Leadership of the PML-N was confused on several issues and it should first of all bring clarity in its stance, he added.
