Karachi slum gets water filter plant

Karachi: Japanese Consul General Akira Ouchi inaugurated a water filtration plant at Makhdoom Bilawal Shah Goth in Gulshan Iqbal town Wednesday evening.

Addressing on the occasion, he said this water filtration plant system is a gift for the people of Karachi city. He that accessibility to clean water is a big issue for the people. He said the Japanese Government in collaboration with Al-Khidmat Foundation (AKF) Pakistan us planning to install water filtration facilities for the people of Pakistan.

Akira Ouchi said that this plant costing Rs.7.7 million have been started in collaboration with Al-Khidmat. He said people of Japan have love and respect for the people of Pakistan. The relation between the two countries is getting stronger. He said the Japan government will continue cooperation in development schemes of Pakistan.
