Man shot dead; boy found dead

RATODERO: A man looking after the fish farm in village Palio Gopang was gunned down late Monday night within the limits of Dhamrah police station.

According to police, a 40-year-old man, Muhammad Sharif Gopeng, was on routine round of a fish farm when unidentified armed men opened fire, leaving him injured. Villagers shifted him to Chandka Medical College Hospital Larkana where he was pronounced dead. The body remained in the mortuary of the hospital as on duty Medico Legal Officer informed the heirs that he was newly posted and was unaware of the proceedings.

Meanwhile, an eight-year-old boy, Sakat Ali, son of Ranjhan Ali Kandhro, resident of Siddiqui colony, Larkana, was found dead from a drain. His father told Newsmen that his son went to the shop to buy household goods but did not return.

He said that later on search, his son’s body was found from a drain passing from the street. The body was shifted to Chandka Medical College Hospital Larkana for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to heirs.
