McPherson urges Canada to boycott India’s plan of holding G-20 events in IIOJK

Canadian Member of Parliament Heather McPherson has urged Canada to boycott the India's plan of holding G-20 events in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Addressing a news conference in Ottawa, she said India assumes its G-20 presidency amid growing anti-Muslim and Islamophobic hate crimes besides appalling violation of minorities' rights including Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists and women.

She said India is allegedly involved in ethnic cleansing, persecution of minorities and arrests of journalists and human rights activists in occupied Kashmir and in India.

Flanked by representatives of the World Sikh Organization and the National Council of Canadian Muslims, she said the Narendra Modi regime is exposing Hindu Nationalism that puts others at risk.
