Meeting: Government dialogue committee cancels planned meeting with TTP committee

Islamabad: The Government Dialogue Committee has cancelled a planned meeting with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Committee on Monday.

The decision has been taken following the martyrdom of twenty three FC personnel by Taliban in Mohmand Agency. Meanwhile‚ Coordinator of the government committee Irfan Siddiqui said an emergency meeting of government dialogue committee has been summoned tomorrow Tuesday. He said the meeting will discuss the current situation and future course of action. He said that committee has deplored and condemned the killing of FC personnel saying such incidents will hamper the process of serious and result oriented negotiations.
