Narowal District govt approves Rs5.33b budget for fiscal year 2013-14

Sialkot: The District Government Narowal has unanimously approved Rs. 5.33 billion budget for fiscal year 2013-14. DCO Narowal Syed Najaf Iqbal told media persons that Rs. 4.32 billion have been allocated for the salaries, Rs.180 million for old development schemes, Rs. 368 million for new development schemes, Rs.39 million for construction of government buildings and roads, Rs. 91 million for agricultural development. Moreover Rs. 2.9 million for environment , Rs. 2 million for fisheries , Rs. 70 million for live stock development , Rs. 68 million for road infrastructure , Rs. 4.5 million for Civil Defence , Rs. 3.7 million for Excise Department , Rs. 3.6 million for forests, Rs.659 million for health facilities and Rs. 3.27 billion have been allocated for education promotion in Narowal district, he added.
