No obstacles in way of holding general elections, says Kaira

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that general elections will be held on time.

Talking to the media persons in Haroonabad on Tuesday he said there were no obstacles in the way of holding general elections on time. The caretaker setup will be in place by March 16 after the dissolution of assemblies.

Qamar Zaman Kaira said that Pakistan People’s Party believes in the politics of ideology and not of any groups. Only those people who will be elected to power by the people will bring change, he added.

Recounting the achievements of the present government‚ the information minister said we gave greater resources and autonomy to the provinces. Balochistan has been given more resources to remove their sense of deprivation.
