No peace possible without dialogue: minister

KARACHI: Senior Finance Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Siraj-ul-Haq, said on Sunday that if government and Taliban dialogue are failed, enemy would have chance to make more interference in Pakistan affairs.

Talking to a group of journalists at Karachi Press Club, he said both sides wanted the dialogue process to go ahead with success as peace could not be maintained without them.

He said that it was still not cleared whether Taliban had nominated Imran Khan and four others as members of their dialogue committee or as mediators.

Responding to a query, he said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was facing many problems which could not be resolved without the help of federal government so central government should not concentrate only on Punjab but also on other provinces as they were also part of the country.
