NPCIH vows to continue full cooperation to Pak army & Police to eradicate terrorism

Peshawar: Chairman National Peace Committee for Interfaith Harmony (NPCIH) has vowed to continue full cooperation to Pak army and Police to eradicate terrorism and bring peace in the country.

The chairman Maulana Mohammad Shoab told reporters about stance of his organization during an oath- taking ceremony here at Press Club on Wednesday.

He said that the NPCIH had been established to raise voice and create awareness among masses against terrorism and its repercussions and working for normalcy, particularly harmony among all faiths living in Pakistan.

He regretted that whenever unbearable act was done abroad against Islam, riots were made here in Pakistan and started ransacking holy places of each other particularly of non-Muslims, which he added give a bad image to the entire world about Islam and Pakistan.

The organization, he informed that was also working to create interfaith harmony and acquaint people with Islamic teachings for having good behaviours for minorities.

Flanked by Vice Chairman of NPCIH Syed Bukhar Shah, members of the organization and the newly members of it for Peshawar City, he said it was working for women as well and for this purpose, they also made the organization for the city, comprised of male and female separately.

Earlier, the chairman administered oath to the newly members of the organization, Ameer Mohammad Khan, Chairman of NPCIH and Raziya Bibi, a Chairperson of the organization for women wing.
