Pakistan, Saudi Arabia enjoy historic brotherly relations: Kaira

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were enjoying the historic brotherly relations. Addressing a function in Islamabad on Wednesday‚ he expressed the confidence that cooperation between the peoples and governments of both the countries will further enhance in future as well.

He said that Saudi Arabia has always stood by Pakistan in difficult hours including earthquake in 2005 and floods of 2010 and 2011. He said that people of Pakistan will always remember the Saudi assistance extended to Pakistan in these natural calamities.
Qamar Zaman Kaira particularly thanked Saudi Arabia for the construction of 8000 pre-fabricated houses for the survivors of victims of earthquake in Balakot‚ Bagh and Muzaffarabad besides revival of health and education sector in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir.
