Pakistani Ambassador discusses bilateral ties with Japanese leaders

Islamabad: Pakistan Ambassador to Japan Farrukh Amil called on Vice President of Liberal Democratic Party‚ the ruling party in Japan and discussed matters relating to political‚ trade and business relations between the two countries.

The Ambassador also met Governor Masaru Hashimoto of Ibaraki Prefecture and discussed matters of mutual interest including bilateral relations in their historical and politico-economic perspective.

The Ambassador expressed his deep appreciation for the people and the Government of Japan for their unconditional assistance to build infrastructure in Pakistan and help during natural calamities.

He emphasized that education is key to development and stressed that technology transfer from Japan and human resource development in Pakistan must be encouraged through joint ventures.
