People from different walks of life have welcomed the government’s decision to substantially reduce petroleum prices.
People have expressed satisfaction that it is a much-needed relief to counter the adverse effects of high inflation in their daily expenses.
Now, with the government’s ample reduction of 40 rupees per liter in petrol prices and 15 rupees in high-speed diesel, people expect this to have a trickle-down effect on the prices of everyday items, goods transport, and public transportation fares.
