Islamabad: Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso has said that all energies should be utilized to improve the quality of education both in the public and private sector so that the younger generation was equipped according to the needs of the day.

He expressed these views while talking to Dr. Sania Nishtar, Federal Minister for Professional and Technical Education, Information Technology and Science and Technology, who call on him here Monday.

The Prime Minister emphasized that special focus be given to promote professional and technical training which will have a favourable impact on overall socio-economic development of the country.

The Prime Minister said that no nation can progress without attaining scientific and technological development. He said that public and private sector should work together to achieve the desired results in this regard.

He said that Pakistani youth is highly talented and energetic which had made its marked in IT, science and technology and education. He maintained that the government would devote all available resources to facilitate the educational institutions for promoting quality education in the country.

Dr. Sania Nishtar apprised the Prime Minister on the progress made so far in prioritizing the availability of broadband in remote and far flung areas of the country.
