PM reaffirms commitment to enduring friendship with KSA

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to a strong and enduring friendship with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a televised message on the National Day of Saudi Arabia, he emphasized that both the countries will continue to work together to promote peace, stability and development in the region. The Prime Minister pointed out that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy a relationship characterized by mutual respect, cooperation, shared values and enduring friendship that have stood in the testing times. He said this relationship is unique and goes beyond common interstate interactions as both the countries have consistently supported each other in times of need, standing in solidarity during natural disasters and crises. The Prime Minister said this reflects the depth of the fraternal bond that exist between the two countries. Shehbaz Sharif especially acknowledged the Kingdom's generosity in helping to stabilize Pakistan's economic situation from time to time, emphasizing that these hi storic gestures have touched us deeply and profoundly forever. Congratulating the Saudi leadership on their National Day, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the visionary leadership of King Salman Bin Abdulaziz for steadfastly guiding the Kingdom towards progress and prosperity while upholding the sacred responsibility of the two holy Mosques. He also commended the sagacious and farsighted vision of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman saying that his initiatives have positioned the Kingdom as a beacon of modernity, innovation and economic growth. The Prime Minister said Saudi Arabia with its vision 2030 is assuming global leadership role. It is in fact amongst the countries that are leading in science and technology, innovation and enterprise. The Prime Minister said Saudi Arabia, as the leader of Muslim world, has consistently championed the cause of justice, equality and peace.
