PN sends 20 tons of relief goods to quake-hit areas

KARACHI: Pakistan Navy continues to supply relief goods to the calamity-hit areas of Balochistan via road and air ways. Another contingent containing 20 tons of relief goods was recently sent off from Karachi.

10 tons of relief goods dispatched yesterday have been handed over to the local administration at Awaraan while two more trucks carrying another 10 tons of supplies left for Turbat last night. These items were collected at the Pakistan Navy’s disaster relief camp established at Karachi. The supplies contain dry rations, biscuits, clean drinking water, blankets and medicines.

The disaster relief camps established by Pakistan Navy at Karachi are continually collecting and sending relief items for the calamity hit areas of Baluchistan. Pakistan Navy has also established relief camps at Baluchistan for smooth and detailed distribution to the whole of the population affected by the earthquake.

Pakistan Navy resolves to provide maximum support to the affectees of recent earthquake and is exploitting all its resources for accomplishment of this purpose.
