Police foil terror bid, recover weapons, explosives

QUETTA: Quetta police foiled a bid of terrorism and seized large quantity of arms and explosions here Wednesday.

Police sources said that on secret information they raided a house along Eastern by pass here today.

Police searched the site and recovered large quantity of arms and explosives. Seized weapons included Kalashinkov 5, land mines 11, hand grenades 2, pistol 9 mm 3, TT pistol 2, explosive material, detonators 12, prima cord, apparatus used in suicide jackets, rounds and magazines in large quantity. No arrest was made.
