KARACHI: Alfalah police arrested 25 accused in different raids and recovered arms, snatched vehicles, drugs and looted valuable from their possession.
On the directives of Superintendent Police SP Shah Faisal Division, Syed Zahid Hussain Shah, Station House Officer SHO, Sarfraz Gondal in crackdown on street criminals and motorcycle lifters gangs arrested eight accused including Muhammad Atif, Muhammad Nazir alias Baba, Hassan Kamran, Waqas Butt, Muhammad Atif son of Manzoor, Mehmood, Ghaffar Khan and Allah Ditta. The police also recovered one carbine, seven pistols, seven magazines, 50 cartridges, 5 snatched motorcycles, 12 mobile phones and cash from their possession. The recovered motorcycles were snatched from Mehmoodabad and Alfalah areas.
The arrested criminals, Atif Ghauri, Nazir alias Baba, Hassan Kamran, Waqas Butt and Muhammad Atif were involved in robberies in passenger coaches.
The police in separate raids arrested eight drug peddlers and recovered half kilogram hashish from their possession while police also arrested nine offenders involved in murder, robberies and other crimes.
Separately, Gizri police arrested 18 criminals including two dangerous outlaws and busted a gang involved in robberies in separate raids. The police recovered a hand grenade, Kalashnikov, drugs and looted valuables from their possession.
On the task given by Senior Superintendent Police, Clifton Division Nasir Aftab, the Station House Officer SHO Gizri police Sohail Ahmed Khan arrested two dangerous criminals, Faraz and Babar, involved in different heinous crimes and recovered a hand grenade, one Kalashnikov, one magazine, 10 cartridges and two kilogram hashish from their possession.
The police, whoever, arrested six street criminals, Sohail, Riaz, Saad ur Rehman, Zaheer Shah, Shakir Khan and Shami and recovered five pistols, five magazines, 25 cartridges and snatched valuables from their possession.
The police also arrested two drug peddlers and recovered one pistol, 1.5 kilogram hashish, and six bottles foreign liquor from their possession while eight offenders involved in different crimes were also arrested in separate raids.
