Punjab Rangers and Rescue 1122 have carried out timely rescue operations in Kanganpur and surrounding areas and shifted around seventy people marooned in the flood wave to safe places along with their livestock.
Punjab rangers have been continuing rescue operation in the flood affected border areas since 9th of this month. Punjab Rangers has so far rescued more than three hundred people, including children and women, and shifted them to safe places.
The flood affected people have commended the rescue efforts on the part of Punjab Rangers and Rescue 1122.
