Putin phones Aliyev discuss implementation of trilateral agreements

Russian President Vladimir Putin in a telephonic interaction with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on Monday discussed the implementation of trilateral agreements signed with Armenia.

Kremlin statement said some practical aspects of the implementation of the agreements were discussed, including plans to restore economic and logistical ties in the South Caucasus.

Both leaders also agreed to continue their contacts.

The three-way accords of 2020 and 2021 had ended a 44-day conflict in the Karabakh region.
