Qadir Baloch, Jam Kamal visit Awaran

QUETTA: Earthquake hit people would not be left alone at the time of difficulty. Federal Government would extend every possible cooperation to provincial government for assistance of quake hit people.

This was stated by Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions Lt General R Abdul Qadir Baloch and Minister of State for Petroleum Jam Kamal during their visit to quake hit Awaran Wednesday. They had arrived Awaran today on the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

They were briefed on human and material losses and rescue and relief operation in detail.

Qadir Baloch said within 24 hours of earthquake Army, FC and administration started rescue and relief operation and for the affectees.

He announced Rupees 250 million on behalf of Prime Minister for the quake affectees.

Minister of State Jam Kamal while expressing grief over losses caused by devastating earthquake said that we fully share grief and sorrow over the affected people. They should not give up patience. Every possible assistance would be provided by the government. Relief goods have arrived in the area and more goods were being sent. They would also be provided medical cover he added.
