Qazi’s demise termed loss to Ummah

Karachi: Former City Nazim Karachi Nematullah Khan has said Qazi Hussain Ahmed had played a pivotal role to unite the Muslim Ummah and his demise was a great loss of the nation and Ummah.

Chairing a condolence meeting for former Amir Jamaat-e-Islami JI Qazi Hussain Ahmed and Naib Ameer Prof Ghafoor Ahmed at Rooty Hill Australia, he applauded the political services of Qazi Hussain Ahmed and Prof Ghafoor Ahmed for country.

He said both leaders introduced new trends to Pakistani politics. He further said their services were highly valued for society.

Nematullah Khan also led a funeral prayer in absentia of Qazi Hussain Ahmed which was attended by large number of people. Anis Qureshi, Dr Hassan Zafarullah, Rana Wajahat, Nasir Ejazullah Khan, Rashid Qureshi were also present, says a release issued here Thursday.
