Rangers arrest over 60 during operation in Karachi

Karachi: Over 60 suspected criminals were arrested during targeted operations conducted by the Rangers in different areas of Karachi on Sunday.

According to the Rangers’ spokesman, after receiving information regarding the presence of criminals operation was conducted in Bilal Colony, Korangi. The entry and exit points of the area were sealed as 1,000 Rangers took part in the operation. Sniffer dogs were also used during the operation in which 15 people were taken into custody. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from their possession.

Meanwhile, in Surjani and Ghas Mandi areas, 24 people including an arms supplier and a target killer were arrested. The arrested target killer is affiliated with a political party. Weapons, satellite phones and a telescope were also recovered.

The arrested suspected criminals have been shifted to an unknown location for further interrogation.
