Rescue activities are in full swing in rain and flood affected areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority, food packages and relief items have been distributed among the flood affectees in Dera Ismail Khan and Chitral districts.

Six relief camps have been established for the flood affectees in different parts of Dera Ismail Khan.

The authority is in close contact with District Administrations of Chitral, Kohistan and Dera Ismail Khan to monitor the situation.
