Security put on high alert following Pindi incident

QUETTA: Security has been put on high alert in Provincial capital following Rawalpindi incident and police and law enforcement agencies have strengthened monitoring in view of possible danger in Quetta and other sensitive cities of Balochistan.

According to sources sensitive agencies were tipped of apprehensions of law and order situation in Quetta, Bolan, Nasirabad and Jaffarabad where miscreants may deteriorate situation by firing, and suicide attacks. They started secret monitoring of sensitive areas in Quetta including mosques and imam bargahs. Control rooms setup during Muharram were reactivated where CCTV cameras were installed.

In view of any possible danger FC, Police and law enforcement agencies have formed joint teams to meet any untoward incident.

Ulema from different schools of thought have also been taken into confidence for not making any statements as flare sectarianism.
