SHCB condemn drone attacks, demands Afia release

Karachi: Sindh High Court Bar Association SHCBA here Monday condemned US drone attacks in Pakistani territories, Israel’s aggression on innocent people of Palestine, and detention of Pakistani mother Dr. Afia Siddiqui in the United States of America.

This meeting was chaired by SHCBA President Mustafa Lakhani and largely attended by members.

During the meeting resolutions were passed which said that the detention of Dr. Afia Siddiqui in American prison was illegal and unjustified as no proper trial was held. It was observed that her imprisonment is against the international law as she had committed no offence.

The meeting also observed that CIA drone attacks in Pakistan were contrary to international law and also attack on the sovereignty of Pakistan.
