Shutter down strike observed in Samaro against ‘conspiracy to kill’ APML Sindh President

KOT GHULAM MOHAMMAD: A complete shutter down strike was observed in Samaro on Monday against ‘conspiracy to kill’ All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Sindh President Sardar Ghulam Mustafa Khaskheli. The party men and supporters also staged sit-ins on the roads of Samaro and Kot Ghulam Mohammad.

The APML Sindh President told PPI on telephone that he was going to Badin from Karachi when he was intercepted near Thatta. However, he captured one man riding a tractor and handed over him to area police, while his accomplice fled.

Later ruling party men besieged Thatta police station and pressurized staff to get tractor. He said that police were reluctant to register an FIR of the case till Monday morning.

The APML leader alleged that ruling party had hatched a conspiracy to kill him. He demanded immediate registration of the FIR.
