Peshawar: The KP Senior Minister and Central Naib Amir of JI Sirajul Haq while terming the consensus among Ulema on sighting of moon and paving way for celebrating Eid ul Fitar on one day as good omen has said that it will also go a long way in unity and fraternity of the entire Pakistani Nation adding that it will greatly help us to making the country secure and developed in all respects.
He appreciated the religious and national acumen of Ulema from all schools of thought including Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai, Ahle Sunnat Waljamaat and Ahle Tashe saying that Ulema are the custodians of the ideological frontiers of the country established in the name of Islam.
He expressed the confidence that Ulema will play their role in befitting manner and will never ever show any lethargy in this regard.
“This act shows that Ulema will neither become victim of anti Islam and antistate conspiracies nor will let creating rifts among the ranks of Pakistani nation as our Ulema know that differences may harm the nation and country and lead to disintegration of the national unity and cohesion”, he added.
He said that the credit of end of differences on sighting moon and thus solemnizing Ramazan and Eid on one day in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this time goes equally to the govt, people and Ulema of this province. Sirajul Haq while felicitating the nation on Eid ul Fitar, appealed to avoid aerial firing on Chand Raat as he said firing every bullet in in the air may claim life of a citizen and convert their joys into lifelong grief.
He also asked the youth to especially keep aloof of motor cycles one wheeling, fireworks and other such activities that might lead to deliberately killing innocent people and destroying families.
He however being the Senior Minister of KP directed the local administration and police all over the province to keep vigil on such activities as well to avoid mishaps in any part of the province especially in urban areas.
