Students and employees of Chandka continue sit-in and demonstration

Ratodero: The activists of Jeay Sindh Students Federation JSSF continued their sit-in for third consecutive day on Wednesday at the gate of Chandka Medical College Larkana to protest against rustication of two final year students Sohail Sarki and Majid Gorar by the college administration for tearing up question papers during the examination.

The protesters, led by Athar Soomro, Aziz Shaikh and others, demanded allowing the rusticated students to appear in examination scheduled on Thursday and warned otherwise of boycotting the examination and calling shutter down strike in Larkana city.

Meanwhile, the employees of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University, Larkana observed pen-down strike and staged demonstration in support of Sindh University Jamshoro employees and against the Vice Chancellor and Registrar of SU.

Employees demanded resolving the problems of SU employees and vowed to continue protest till the demands are accepted.

The activists of Jeay Sindh Students Federation and Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz also staged demonstration in Larkana city against Sindh University administration for implicating the JSSF activists in cases and getting them arrested. Jeay Sindh leaders Sajjad Markhand and Imran Ali demanded withdrawal of cases and release of arrested activists.

Meanwhile, the residents of Haidery, Nazar and Kausar localities of Larkana city staged demonstration at local press club against municipal authority for their failure to drain out sewerage water from the streets.
