Tense situation grips Thatta for 2nd day as forced strike continues against murder of a boy

Thatta, Sindh: The tense situation gripped district headquarter town Thatta on Wednesday due to forced strike on second consecutive day against the murder of a young boy belonging to Brohi community a couple of days back over a petty issue.

The groups of young motorcyclists continued roaming at town roads forcing the shopkeepers to shut their business. The transport at the roads was very thin that created hardships for the people travelling to and from other areas.

The youth groups are protesting against the police for not arresting the assailants despite lodging of FIR. Six persons belonging to Khushk community were nominated in the FIR. Mobile police vans and armored personnel carriers were deployed at main points of town to avert any untoward incident.
