Three bills introduced in NA

Islamabad: Three bills were introduced in the National Assembly on Tuesday. The first bill was “The Carriage by Air (Amendment) Bill, 2012”.

The bill moved by Riaz Fatyana provides to amend the Carriage by Air Act, 2012.

The second bill “The Medical and Dental Council (Amendment) Bill, 2012” provides to amend the Medical and Dental Council Ordinance, 1962. It was moved by Nosheen Saeed.

The third bill “The National Commission for Child Rights Bill, 2012” was moved by Nosheen Saeed.

It provides for the establishment of a National Commission for Child Rights ensuring social and economic welfare of children.

The chair referred the bills to the concerned committees of the House.

Meanwhile, Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Law and Justice Begum Nasim Akhtar Chaudhary presented before the House the report of the committee on “The Pakistan Penal Code (Amendment) Bill, 2012” that provides to amend the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860.
