Three die in Karachi mishaps

Karachi: Three persons including a woman died in different mishaps in Karachi on Wednesday.

35 years old Asif S/o Sami was gunned down by unidentified armed men near Nazimabad Bridge in the remit of Nazimabad Police Station, while 21 years old Mateen S/o Wasi was wounded. Police sources said the deceased and injured were affiliated to a religious party. The body and injured were rushed to Abbassi Shaheed Hospital.

20 year old Kiran w/o Imran, resident of Samanabad committed suicide over domestic issue in Gulberg Town in the limit of Samanabad Police Station. Police said Kiran after quarrelling with husband hanged herself inside home. The body was moved to hospital for autopsy. No case was registered.

Separately, a 40 years old man, whose identity could not be ascertained,

was knocked to death by a fast-moving vehicle near Jamia Cloth Market, Saddar Town. The body was moved to Civil Hospital Karachi.
