Karachi: Three persons including an activist of political party were gunned down in different areas of the city on Friday.
35-years-old Nayyar S/o Shahabuddin, an activist of MQM was killed in firing near Rehmat Chowk Orangi number 11/1-2 in the jurisdiction of Pakistan Bazaar Police Station. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for autopsy.
Police said victim received four bullets and died before he could be taken to hospital. Police started further investigation.
Separately, 35-years-old Mudassir S/o Abdul Raheem, resident of Gulshan e Maymar was killed in firing of unknown bike riders at Sohrab Goth Flyover in the limit of Yousuf Plaza Police Station. They incident took place in the wee hours of Friday, when Mudassir and his companion Wajahat were going somewhere in his car.
However, Wajahat sustained one bullet in shoulder and was admitted in Aga Khan Hospital. The body was shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities. Police said victim received four bullets and he died on spot.
25-years-old Raju S/o Suriesh was gunned down by unidentified armed men at Baba e Urdu Road in the remit of Risala Police Station. The body was moved Civil Hospital for Postmortem.
Police said the victim had criminal record and he was wanted to police many cases, adding the victim received three bullets in upper torso he died on the spot.
