Updated news Three killed in different incidents

KARACHI: Three men were killed in different incidents in the city on Monday, police said.

They said a speeding car registration No. AJZ959 knocked to death a bike rider Altaf Abbasi, 22, son of Yar Muhammad, and a pedestrian Nadeem, 75, son of Khuda Bux, near Safari Heights in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre JPMC for medico legal formalities.

Police have impounded the car, however, driver managed to flee. Separately, an under construction wall fell on a young man Babar, 20, leaving him dead near Khawaja Ajmer Nagri police station in North Karachi. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a postmortem.
